Once upon a time the winter road was open and, after stomping through hip-deep snow to the falls, I managed to get some great frozen shots. Unfortunately, way back when, with a analog camera, and those pictures are lost! Now nobody can get there in winter.
Also, once upon a time there were no barriers. But after some idiot tourists fell in, they put up platforms and barrier fences.
