About thoughts
Digital edit one of latest watercolors I made. It's interesting to play with images personally created and than giving them new look.
Sometimes this results with some new work ideas and making new art.
Here is original that was used for making this ''new'' image. Some flips, some overlaying and collage adjustments in BeFunky editor and there she is.

I think the mirroring/doubling/tripling makes it very effective.
Camille Paglia would call this Allegorical Repletion, filling a space with slightly altered versions of the same character, who seem destined to diverge further and eventually take on their own identities.
Thank for the link, not sure if I will be able to find book here but it sounds very interesting. Never made deeper thought about this moments I have lately with doubling and tripling images and urge for doing them, but now you got my mind working. Next visit to my therapist this for sure will be one of the subjects to go trough @winstonalden. I am curious what we will find out that is happening with my gray cells :)
Camille paglia reference, good one @winstonalden. I first read her studying art history at university. She has an interesting take on things.
I love the way you digitally alter your pieces, especially your 'ladies'.
