The pair of small bushes are coming into their own now after 3 or 4 years in the ground. They are both loaded with gooseberries that are in varying stages of ripeness. Though they are at varying levels I am still picking the majority of them now hoping they ripen up in storage.

The bushes are not highly thorned but they still have them. Fairly easy to pick but difficult not to eat more than save, but I am getting better with my self control so only a few have vanished.

As of now I am unsure what I will be doing with the berries but I have been thinking jams would be a good use. There is also wine, chutney, relish, and then just freezing them.
