Europe is Not the Same Anymore
My vacation in Germany just got an unfortunate turn, for sure. I'm in Munich, so nowhere near Berlin, thankfully, but still.
It's really unfortunate that we now need to take things like this into consideration when travelling in Europe. This used to not be the case.
A big reason why is because certain people still insist on holding on to their diversity ideologies. It doesn't matter to these people how many innocent people lose their lives to refugees, it's never the immigration policy's fault. No matter how many times a slaughter like this happens, the issue always gets brushed to the side.
People who are worried are racist - and get silenced.
I'd like to point out, though, that Islam is an ideology and a religion, not a race. Being anti-islam can not therefore be racist because islam is not a race. Just like being anti-Christianity is not being anti-white.
The alleged trick driver is said to have come to Germany as a refugee from Pakistan in February 2016.
We read things like this on the news, but rarely do we get to spend time in a country where something like this happens. Actually seeing the locals and how they feel and how broken they are. It's heart breaking.
There is a big blind spot that libertarians have regarding this issue because "border control would violate the non-aggression principle!" and I think that libertarians need to wake up and realize that not all people and cultures cherish the idea of freedom like we do. These people don't give two fucks about our precious non-aggression principle. They are out for blood, and the less ready a society is to defend itself, the better.
See, I expect being dumb out of the left wing, but libertarians are supposed to be the smart people of the political spectrum, so that's why I'm expecting libertarians in particular to stand up and say: "Enough is enough".
But I have a fear that's not going to happen because people are so sheepishly in love with their idols like @larkenrose to think for themselves.

Glad you're safe. Europeans need to look to the source of this problem; the politicians who import rapists and terrorists without being held responsible.
until those politicians are...dealt with...your problem is just going to get worse.
I would like to point out the problem of Political Islam has been around for 1400 years. 100s of millions of brutal deaths and 100s of milions enslaved and tortured. It took the Spaniards 500 years to drive the Moslems out and it is only the fact Western Civilization is superior to Islam militarily that Europe is not all a bunch of goatfuckers.
Islam went into a relatively quiet state when the Ottoman Empire fell after WW II. Unfortunately, Islam is back after we gave them all the fabulous oil profits.
Political Islam is an effective, insidious, civilization-destroying-machine that must be destroyed at all costs. Under the guise of a silly religion with intolerant, backward, mysogynist, ignorant ways they infiltrate a country like they are beginning to do in the U.S. as "refugees."
They will reproduce until they reach populations sizes like in France where we are seeing people murdered by the 100s as in Paris and Nice and now Berlin yesterday. Then it's Sharia and ruins like North Africa where you can still see the ruins of the destruction by Islam. Politcal Islam is a horrific matter, but I am glad you posted about this ugly menace. The problem of Islam needs to be faced head on and decisively else they will win their jihad. This problem is divisive, but Westerners (Kafir (Arabic: كافر kāfir; plural كفّار kuffār; feminine كافرة kāfirah) need to realize they are in a state of war with Islam (jihad).
In situation like these Germany has and will ever have a 'historical problem', due to what happened during the holocaust. When it comes to open or close doors, Germany won´t ever be able to act consequently. That´s the weak point, and the enemy knows that. Now many people came into the country without having been controlled or registered in an appropriate way. Among them terrorists.
Miss Merkel surely decided to run again for the chancellor´s seat (election next year), since she needs to fix the huge problems her open-arms-politics have caused.
Having a well organized border control doesn´t mean to be racist or anti-anybody. It´s time to wake up and react. Or like you perfectly said: 'Enough is enough.'

I'm afraid that the so-called libertarians have washed brains. For me they're like little children who believe in fairy tales. It is we, the adults, who have to take control - also to protect the little ones.
