The Bengali celebration is celebrated in the jabate
Through the marching process and cultural programs, Bangla Nababarsha-1425 is celebrated at Jagannath University (JB), the traditional university of old Dhaka.
On Tuesday morning, a procession was started from Jabib at 9 am to celebrate the new year. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan was present as the chief guest in the rally. The vice chancellor led the procession. Meizanur Rahman.
The procession came back from the Shaheed Minar premises of RUsahab Bazar, Tantibazar at the university campus.

Salim Bhuiyan, Deans of different faculties, director of the institute, registrar, chairman of the department, teachers, students, officers, student leaders, employees of old Dhaka school, colleges and educational institutions, teachers, business associations and cultural organizations.
The theme of this year's Mangal procession was 'National fruit jackfruit'. After the march rally, at 10 am, the cultural program began in the social science building premises.
