In life, we all want to grow. We all want to be better than the person we were. We all seek improvements and a better life. These desires and lifestyle we seek for are not without a price. In life, you may not get what you pay for, but you will surely pay for what you get.

This post seeks to address the things we need to do, so we can bring about or birth the increase we desire. How do you position yourself for growth?.

Everything that must be great must be growing. Greatness cannot start in a vacuum; it is called growth. It must start from a minute state and keep growing.

What sets people apart from the crowd and conditioned them for the growth that is to come?

3. Belief system.

Our belief system has a way of either helping us or hindering us from hitting our full potential. What are you holding on to? What do you believe over time that has worked for you?

I heard the story of this particular man several years ago, when i was still a teen. He was invited for an interview in a bank and he passed all the stages. When they told him about the dress schedule, he simply refused the job offer because he doesn't feel good to wear a suit. His life spiralled out of control after that. He never hit an upward trend and those things that are relevant to his line of focus would demand him to wear suit but his belief system is never to wear one; for whatever reasons he had.

In this life, if you are ever going to position yourself for growth, you need to unlearn and relearn. This is what i heard back then when i joined Steemit; forget all you think you know and seek to learn new ways and have reasonable reasons for what you hold on to.

Allow new things and ways of doing things find entrance into your heart. Don't hold on to your archaic ways of doing things. Seek to know, and seek to improve. This is why you see old companies coming up with new ways of doing things to keep up with the trend and stay ahead; except you are St. Loius sugar brand (that's the only exception i can give and yes, their genuine reasons must have worked over the years.)

Forget about the things you have believed in before now and seek to change your mindset. If that mindset has never given you any headway, why then hold on to it so blindly? And if it has given you some headway, what harm does it cause to try another aspect and expand your horizon? Change your orientation as to how you see life because it determines what you will get out of life.

Think about the things that needs to be changed or corrected in your life and be intentional about it. What have you believed before now? How far have you fared holding on to it? Are you willing to try new ways and be better than you currently are?
