The Rabbit Hole

In Budge's The Egyptian Book of the Dead, with the Papyrus of Ani, a hieroglyph of a rabbit is used with the hieroglyph for water. It could have something to do with the saying "down the rabbit hole". According to Budge the hare and water hieroglyph probably relates to faiths.

It is an Egyptian language biliteral with the value wn, (or un), often used in a hieroglyph composition block with the horizontal n. ...
