Behind The Photo contest - Winners of Edition #8!
It's again time to announce the winners, this time of the eight edition of the Behind The Photo contest!
The last couple of weeks have been...unusal...to put it very mildly. But that has not deterred all of you fantastic people to submit entries for this contest, which we are so thankful for.
This edition brought us close to 50 (valid) entries, which is really really good, all things considered.
Lots of new entrants told interesting stories, and yet again we saw users who has entered before, enter again with new and captivating stories behind their photos.
We will of course continue the contest with an announcement for edition #9 later this week. Just not in this neighbourhood. We might post a short announcement here in a few days, just as a reminder to people who like and follow this contest, but we will see.
This contest has succeeded beyond our wildest dreams, continued to grow, and we hope that we can continue to spread the word to get even more people to participate, as well as keep those who return with another entry, interested!
If you want to take a look at all the entries, you can take a look at the @behindthephoto blog here or look for the #behindthephoto tag. If you like what you see in an entry, consider giving the author a follow and/or a re-blog.
We want to say a BIG thank you to everybody who participated. We know that it's not always an easy task to share stories behind photos, whether they are very personal, or very technical in nature (or both), so we truly value everybody's efforts. Hopefully, you thought it was as fun to create your entries (and look through the other ones), as we though it was reading all the stories behind the photos!
Edition #9 will be launched later this week, so follow @behindthephoto or keep an eye out for the #behindthephoto tag, tell all your friends, post a link in your discord servers, spread the word and share the contest in any way you think is appropriate.
