In December we went on a family outing to a town called Táchira. Specifically San Cristobal, this beautiful state is located in the Andean region of Venezuela, where you can find beautiful mountain scenery and enjoy a cold climate and a warm atmosphere generated by the friendly people of this area.

The sad return.

     There are no words to describe the deep sadness you feel when you inevitably have to return to the capital, although I am very grateful to Caracas for having taken us in years ago. I do not see the day when I can change the city from concrete to green fields.

     On the way back you leave at 4 a.m. because the trip takes 13 hours if you don't get any obstacles on the road. Leaving the border of Táchira you get the plains of Barinas State, the daylight allows us to see a beautiful sunrise with a soft breeze that makes your face pink. That day I opened the camera of my Kronos-net cell phone, I only asked my husband to slow down the car and I managed to capture different images that were saved in my folder of beautiful photos of the memory.

Barinas has a contrast between landscapes of mountains, plains, rivers and streams, offers the tourist a variety of options, from contemplating rare species in their habitat, to enjoy its spectacular parks and natural spas.

     And later on the sun came out and you can appreciate the beauty of this wonderful plain land, where the cattle that generates most of the meat, cheese and milk of the whole country is raised. That's why when you pass by there it's very nice to go with the windows under the car so that you can feel not only the breeze but also the smell of the cow, the countryside and the town. For this and more I am proud to be VENEZOLANA.
