Do you recognize your Child's behaviour....

Do you remember when you were a child and you wanted to know if someone was proud of his or her behavior? What did you do to find out? There were certainly significant moments in our childhood that we'll never forget. I remember one particular time when my mother made me write down the thoughts that I had as I was feeling sad, scared, happy or angry. This became a very important experience for me, because I was able to take all the information I was feeling at the time and create a journal to write them all down in.

Your kids' behavior is never going to be lost in some dark corner of their mind. They will always want to tell you about what they're feeling, how they're feeling and why they're feeling it. You need to know how to read these feelings.

We all have good and bad times. If you ask people if they are proud of their behavior, the great majority of them will say no. You may even find that in the past you have used that word to criticize others.

It can be very difficult for you and your children to understand why they are feeling the way they are. Is it because they're living in poverty, or that they're experiencing some other type of trauma, or maybe they just have some problems that are constantly weighing them down? It's completely up to you to find out what is behind their behavior.
What if you could learn how to properly read your children's feelings? You wouldn't have to worry about your own behavior being misinterpreted or criticized by the child. You would just be able to recognize what is going on without having to be judgmental.

If you recognize that your child is feeling sad, then help them through it. If you're with them when they're crying, don't just stand there. Be reassuring and let them know that they're going to be okay. Let them know that you are going to get them some food and make sure that they're comfortable.
