Setting up my full spectrum camera for the bee house
I have a macro lens for my Lumix GH3 I use for my special photography. I am able to get pretty close images of the bees working on the 2x4 and bamboo homes inside. I added lights as its pretty dark in there and its under the deck so natural light is not really getting in.

Unfortunately this light causes them to get confused and buzz near the top of the home and usually leave the area until I turn off the lights. I may need to change the color temp of the lights as its a warm light maybe a cool white light will not trigger them to leave their homes. I think it has to do with their cycles and when the sun comes out they leave to search for pollen and nectar. These lights are close to the color of sunlight so they may think the sun is coming out.
The back of the home, I built it so they can enter from the front and under the roofing I left space for the bees and for my light wires to go through.

@cityofstars thanks alot, I used scap wood to build it. The hardest part was pitching the roof but besides that was alot of fun building.
