How to Distinguish Real Honey from Fake One? Few Signs of Differences.

in #bees8 years ago

Good day amigos. Today i want to tell you about how to distinguish real #honey from fake.I'm sure every fan of honey interested in this. How to distinguish real honey? It's very easy. And now I'll tell you!

There are several signs:

  • The first of them. The quality of the young honey can be defined when dip the spoon in the jar of honey, scoop and lift up. Real honey dripping for a long time, flowing smooth stream, not broken into droplets, on a plate lies a hill, and then gradually spreads through her surface. The last drop of honey is springy and pulls back to spoon.  Video of real honey:

  • If the spoon is to rotate around its axis, the honey must " wound" on her like a ribbon. Unripe honey is usually immediately flows down how fast be you not rotated the spoon.

  • Try also to rub a little honey between your fingers. The Real honey fully absorbed, the fake honey is clumps forms that you rolled it.

  • Also, real honey can be distinguished by the taste. But it will be difficult to make those who are tastes honey for the first time. Real honey besides the fact that he's just a sweet, have a nice bitter taste and causes mild sore throat, it should have a tart taste. Put a little bit of honey in your mouth and swallow — right honey "pulls" the throat. Bees try.

  • The #smell and flavor. Real honey smells like flowers, the smell is unobtrusive, natural. In artificial are two extremes: the smell may be absent altogether or be harsh, unnatural, to give the smell caramel.

  • The color of the honey depends on the plants-honey plants, which was collected #nectar. For example, the floral honey is light shades, buckwheat — brown, lime — amber. White color may indicate that the bees were fed sugar syrup. In this case, they fermented sugar and processed as usual nectar from the fields. The result is honey that is difficult to identify even in the lab.

  • Finally real honey can be determined by weight. Pay attention to the weight of one liter of Mature honey should weigh not less than 1.4 kg. It is very important.

I like bees and honey.

Really interesting, and the incoming success for this post is well deserved. There is so much fake food going around these days. This is super helpful.

I publicized your article in my weekly round-up. If you like it, your publicizing the round-up by linking to it (and up-voting it) will help me, yourself and the bees!
