2 Birds Brewing
Good day Steenians I hope you're entering the week with Joy and happiness filled with family and friends.
With family and friends comes food, wine and beer! And what better place to get your fix then at Australia's first first female-owned brewing company, 2 Birds Brewing.
In 2015 their Sunset Ale, won best Ale at the Wetherspoon’s Real Ale Festival.
The ale features rich, round, toffee-like malt characters and a combination of Australian and American hops.
No wonder why we found 3 awesome women who'll be leading the Australian Labor Party into the future. Kathryn Hall for Footscray, Ingrid Stitt for West Metro and Melissa Horne for Williamstown.
It's such an honor having such great women leading Melbourne's West smashing that glass sealing and proving women are just as capable as men! So with all things beer we ordered a burger and sat and chatted with the awesome women of the west.
Now for a review of 2 Birds Brewing, their beer is one of my favorite and can be found on tap across the state and as a westie I can't go past supporting a local. With a range of different flavors it's hard to describe in one post which is best so I'll just make a recommendation for you to try them.... all... not in one sitting obviously, but... I may have tried this in the past 😮
How about the food offered on site? 2 Birds Brewing is known for Beer not food but their menu accompanies their beer flavor and selection of cheese and breads definitely brings out the best in their beer.
Pop past for a brew or two or simply opt for a local next time you're at the pub, you won't be disappointed!
Have a great day!
Also great beer at Two Birds
One place that I have to visit still. :)
Nice review mate.
Thank you, here's hoping for 5SBD win. I saw you came second the other week.
Sure did. :) I’ve won a few times now.
I hope you get a prize too. :)
Great review! This looks like a great spot. I’m excited to see more women enter the craft beer scene.
The more people who brew beer the better, I would love to see some photos of those beers, as tasting them is a bit out of the question as South Africa is a bit far to come over!!
