I'm at an airport drinking beer, so I might as well review it

I live about 1.5 hours from the airport, so when I get to this place I tend to get here way too early. And I did exactly that with epic style tonight, a whole 2 hours early for my late night flight to Adelaide.

So, to pass the time, I'm drinking beer and reading random stuff on Steemit. Check out the trending page today! Actually don't, it's rubbish. A Steemit messaging app that utilises your wallet for messaging? Yeah, no thanks, I'll stick to Discord and keep my SBD where it belongs.

Anyway, I digress. I'm drinking a beer at the airport bar and I should tell you all about it. I bought the most crafty looking beer in the line up, and wow... what a surprise this beer is.

I bought a McCracken's Amber Ale - Amber Ale's can be amazing sometimes

So McCracken's is owned by Carlton United Brewery (CUB), this is a big Australian macro brewer who generally make very crap beer. I have a strong dislike for this company and would have avoided purchasing this beer had I known that they owned this brand.

So I may have been telling a little fib when I said that this beer is a surprise. Because it's not. It's crap, just like the rest of the beers made by CUB. I just wanted you to get to this section of my post. The beer is crap so there's really not a whole lot I can say about it. So my goal now is just to keep you reading until the end of the post. Because it's there that I divulge some very important information and it would be a shame for you to give up on this post and stop reading given how bad this beer is. No one really wants to read about a crappy beer now do they?

I should at least describe the beer I suppose. It forms a decent and reasonably well lasting head at the pour, which is sometimes a good thing. There is literally no aroma, which is odd, and wrong. And then there's the taste. This beer tastes like slightly bitter and hoppy water with a nasty bitter after taste that I can't wait to wash away with something less bitter, such as a the sole of my shoe. I shouldn't be so rude. This beer isn't as disgusting as many CUB beers but it's quite simply crappy and boring. It tastes cheap, and it is. I'd guess that it costs CUB about 15 cents to make 1 litre of this beer. My upvote is worth more than it takes to produce this beer...

I won't bother exposing you to the ratings that the beer review sites give this beer. You only need to listen to my opinion on this one. It's a crappy beer and it shouldn't have ever seen the light of day. I'm sure the beer was drinkable before CUB bought the brand and destroyed it. But I was never fortunate enough to experience it before then.

Oh yeah, I mentioned that I had important information to impart to you all. I may have lied about that as well. I made you read a beer review about a crappy beer! Sorry... _{or am I?}
