Beer with my food
For this week's #BeerSaturday I stared the weekend off by having dinner Friday night at Lolo Peak Brewing. A nice tasty burger and some clam chowder was called for. I did not get a picture of the chowder as I ate it too fast.
Of course, I needed a beer to go with the food so I had the Huckleberry Saison as it is almost done for the year.
Today I went to the Farmer's Market and picked up some bison burger. I used it to make a meatloaf. I had a slice for dinner along with some seasoned corn.
I paired this with a Highlander (Missoula Brewing Company) Scottish Winter Ale that I happened to have.
A couple of pretty good food and beer combinations.
Mmmmm beer! And meatloaf!
Aye. And I got enough meat to make another one sometime. :)
