A week full of beer
For #BeerSaturday this week I have a full week of beer to post.
On Monday we went to a brewpub called Tamarack Brewing Company for a friend's birthday party. I had a couple of beers. The first was an apricot wheat ale called Sip N' Go Naked. It has the right amount of apricot to be good but not overpowering.
Then I had their Wakeboard Wit, a wheat ale brewed with orange peel and coriander. It was also quite good.
On Tuesday we transferred a wheat ale I am brewing to the secondary fermenting bucket.

To here:
I am making it a huckleberry wheat but huckleberries aren't in season so I am cheating and using blueberries (which are similar and in the same family) then adding some huckleberry flavoring.
Here is the blueberries after being flash boiled.
Wednesday we went to a local brewery, Kettlehouse Brewing Company, for a fundraiser for a local Celtic festival. We both had the Honey Hefeweizen. It was pretty tasty and enjoyable.
And the local pipe band played.
Friday we went to Lolo Peak Brewing, surprising I am sure. I had the Scotch Ale which I rather enjoy.
Didn't get a picture of dinner as I ate it too fast. I did get one of dessert though.
Today we did a bunch of things and headed out of town. We had dinner at Flathead Lake Brewing Company. We had a beer sampler which was all good.
And dinner wasn't bad either. I had ahi tuna.
Whew, what a week for Beer!
