A trip with beer

For this week's #BeerSaturday post I present several beers I had on a road trip recently.

We went to Seattle to a gaming convention, but before the convention started we went to a game store/eatery and had snacks and beer. It was the Mox Boarding House in Bellevue.

I had a scotch ale. It was quite smooth, and very tasty. I didn't notice the 7.7% ABV but it could sneak up on you.

After drinks we went to the grocery store and stocked up on supplies. Here is the lineup of snacks.

And here is the lineup of drinks. We did have some other cider and beer later in the weekend that I didn't get a picture of.

On the drive home we stopped at a Sushi place where I ordered a pineapple wheat ale from Tenpin Brewing. The pineapple was very much in attendance but not overpowering.

When we stopped for dinner at a Thai place, I ordered a Sapporo. It is a fairly nondescript Japanese beer. Quite drinkable, just blends in.
