I've drunk a lot of collaboration beers over the years. Usually these will be a collaboration between a bearded brewery from brewery A and a bearded brewer from Brewery B.

Sometime's I've even seen collaborations between rockbands and breweries or skate companies and breweries.

But Garage Project, which is one of the best breweries based in Wellington in New Zealand do their collaborations a bit differently, they had one with a ballet company (the amazing hops on pointe) and now they have one with a women's fashion label (also Wellington based) - 27 names.

Yep that's the name of the fashion label and the beer. - Garage Project 27 names golden age.

But not too many which are colloboartions between woman's fashion label {the 27 names) and a brewery

Even the beer itself is a combination of things, being a blend of a number of garage projects sour beers.

It's packaged in a champagne style bottle which is a 27 names print, but it makes me think it's a dark beer, maybe a milk chocolate stout, but nothing could be further from the truth...

The beer itself looks like orange juice, it's opaque with no head at all. There is very little carbonation in it the taste is multi layered, a sweet fruitiness at the start, definitely kiwifruit, which dissolves away to a tartness with lingers on the tip of your tongue.

All in all a solid beer, not one of Garage Project's best but that's a high bar, but it's good to see a brewery doing things differently and getting new people into Craft Beer.

Taking about getting people interested in beer, that's exactely what #Beersaturday does it unites all the beery people on steemit, you should drink beer if you are that way inclined and write about it and you could WIN - full details on the main #Beersaturday (organised by @detlev ) here: https://steemit.com/hive-187719/@detlev/beersaturday-week-135

Interesting collaboration , but I am not sure it will work for me - it is a pity, I cannot taste it!!
