#BeerSaturday Challenge: My visit at Guinness Storehouse | Mein Besuch im Guinness Storehouse 🇺🇸/🇩🇪

Howdy beer lovers! 🙋
I outed myself as a beer lover in my last article for the #BeerSaturday challenge by @detlev before. With my today's article, I'd like to share some impressions of my visit to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin with you.
The Guinness logo already gives anticipation even before entering the museum.
If you think of irish beer, you inevitably think of a good, cold Guinness. As a Guinness lover you should not have visited Dublin without visiting the storehouse. That's why I spent half a day to get to know the history of Guinness.
In order not to spoil before you get to visit the museum, I only want to share a few rough impressions. The Storehose is divided into seven floors. Each floor is dedicated to its own theme. It shows the story, the manufacturing process, as well as past advertisement. The highlight of every visit is the Gravity Bar, where you can enjoy a free pint of Guinness plus you have a panoramic view over Dublin. You can find some impressions of the several floors on the website which leads you through the different floors.
Only the clearest irish water for the beer. I have never ever seen a waterfall in a museum yet.

For me, the visit was absolutely worth it. The Guinness Storehouse is anything but "boring" - "take part and discover the world of Guinness" could be the slogan.
Speaking of participation: On the Storehouse, you will get the explanation to tap a Guinness the right way - but to tap a Guinness is a piece of art itself. If you do not act too stupid, you get drunk and have a diploma in your pocket you leave the museum.

Bereits mit meinem letzten Beitrag zur #BeerSaturday Challenge von @detlev habe ich mich als Biertrinker geoutet. Mit dem heutigen Beitrag möchte ich mit euch meine Eindrücke von meinem Besuch des Guinness Storehouse’ in Dublin teilen.
Bereits am Eingang verleitet das Guinness Logo zur Vorfreude auf ein kühles Braunes.
Wer an irisches Bier denkt, denkt unweigerlich an ein gutes Guinness. Als Guinness-Liebhaber darf man nicht Dublin besucht haben, ohne das Storehouse aufzusuchen. Aus diesem Grund bin ich für einen halben Tag in die Geschichte von Guinness eingetaucht.
Um euch einen möglichen Besuch nicht vorwegzunehmen, teile ich nur einige grobe Eindrücke. Das Storehose ist auf sieben Stockwerke aufgeteilt. Jedes Stockwerk widmet sich einem eigenen Thema. Dabei wird die Geschichte gezeigt, der Herstellungsprozess sowie vergangene Werbemaßnahmen. Highlight eines jeden Besuches ist die Gravity Bar, in der man seinen kostenlosen Pint Guinness genießen kann und von dort aus einen Rundumblick über Dublin hat. Einen ersten Eindruck zu den unterschiedlichen Stockwerken erhält man bereits auf der Website, die einen durch die verschiedenen Stockwerke leitet.
Nur bestes irisches Wasser für das Bier. Ein Wasserfall im Museum habe ich auch noch nicht gesehen...

Für mich hat sich der Besuch gelohnt. Das Guinness Storehouse ist alles andere als ein „langweiliges“ Museum - „mach’ mit und entdecke die Welt von Guinness“ könnte das Motto sein.
Apropos mitmachen: Vorort kann ein kurzes Seminar belegt werden, in dem das ordnungsgemäße Zapfen eines Guinness erklärt wird – ist das Zapfen eines Guinness doch eine Kunst für sich. Wer sich dabei nicht zu blöd anstellt, kommt leicht angetrunken und mit einem Diplom in der Tasche wieder aus dem Museum raus.
Was ein Anblick: Im siebten Stock das Highlight: mein Guinness in der Gravity Bar.
Da das Storehouse an dem Tag meines Besuches sehr voll war, gibt es hier keinen Rundumblick über Dublin.
