#BeerSaturday - Murray's Grand Cru 8.8%ABV
Was comp'd one of these bad boys when buying a bunch of other Murray's varieties. Have drunk a lot of beer in my life, and have never heard of a Grand Cru beer let alone tried one.
For anyone who's had one, you know whats coming next.
Total. Complete. Utter. Surprise.
And I don't mean the "oh wow gosh thats a bit different"... i mean something like putting a beer in your gobber and having the old tastebuds register champers. Yep, champagne. its insane. I don't know how they do it, but gosh dang its strong. I sear i had one and was a bit unsteady. But absolutely delightful.
No real scent either way. But the taste is like a beer-y champagne. Or a champagne-y beer. I dunno, I can't explain it.

Anyway, fine one, get one, shoot one, slam one. Win at life. Do yourself a favour.
