Stay Crafty you Bastards

When in Knoxville drink like the locals! We heard that Crafty Bastard Ales was the locals spot that was slinging the best beers in town. Being a beer fanatic I could not pass up the opportunity to immerse myself into the local cultural and see what all the hype was about.

Slurm Juice

If you are a Futurama fan this will sound familiar. It’s the iconic, popular and highly addictive green soft drink that is consumed by the shows main character Fry. Crafty Bastard’s version is just as additive. It’s a green apple gose that’s tart with a sweet finish.

A true favorite by the the locals the Big Bastard DIPA is hoppy, packed with citrus just like a DIPA should be.

The BDSM Ale has a little more bite. It’s a 9.6% ABV Belgian Dark Strong ale that packs a big load of dried fruits and banana notes. It’s complex and a little spicy.

We had a great at the brewery. We got to talk to some cool people who had some great tips about the city. Not to mention they let us bring our dogs in. I highly recommend it.
