Nordskye by Black Rocks Brewery
Nordskye by Black Rocks Brewery
This is a sessons IPA which combines the delicious hoppy flavors of an IPA with the lower alcohol content of a session beer.
Nordskye pours clear copper color with a hint of orange the head is thick soapy off white colors that reduces to a sticky lacy cap.
The a roma is light, crisp and clean. There are notes of orange, lemon and other citrus fruits. There is also a light floral hoppy notes associated with an IPA.
Well I say it a lot the taste is similar to the aroma, but the major difference is I’m picking up more fruit. The malt is pretty forward In this one. The hop flavor is also more bold and adds nice spice and earthy notes.
This beer is medium bodied with a heavier carbonation that makes it a easy drinking beer. It also finishes very clean which adds to its refreshing nature.
Overall, I would say this is a nice session IPA. It’s a little sweeter and juicier than expected which are all good characteristics. I would definitely recommend checking this out.
