Lager Rhythm

What’s better than a classic lager? Not much in my opinion and Lager Rhythm by Blackrocks brewing did not disappoint.

As you can see the appearance was a pale yellow with a generous two finger's worth of white foamy head that faded away sporadically.

The aroma had some grapefruit sweetness, a fair amount white bread, a touch of herbal and a slight pine smell.

The flavor was slightly sweet initially and ended up bringing in a spicy peppery taste that was ever so soft. Aftertaste was again slightly sweet with that little bit of white pepper and pine, but over all it was extremely light.

The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a crushable characteristic. Carbonation felt good and light in line with the style. ABV felt appropriate and gave the beer a little kick that the macros are lacking.

Overall, pretty nice American pale lager worthy of having again. This is one I’d take to a BBQ or the lake.
