Gravity Flux
If you love a double shoe of espresso this beer is for you! Gravity Flux by Ellison Brewery is a bold and delicious mashup of beer and coffee flavors.
This stout pours an oily black like fresh brewed coffee. The head is minimal and dark tan to off white in color. The head is comprised of smaller bubbles the dissipate to light cap that leaves behind some fine lacing on the glass.
The aroma is pungent with loads of coffee and dark espresso notes. There is a slight whiff of alcohol and vanilla from the barrel aging process.
The taste in also coffee forward. There are hints of chocolate, vanilla and some earthy stout undertones, but it’s first and foremost coffee. This might not be for everyone if you like the traditional stout flavors because they are masked by coffee. However, I’m a coffee addict so this was right up my alley.
This beer was in the lighter side for carbonation so it’s a sipper. I think that the lack of carbonation gives this more of a rich and decadent feel. Not to mention the the thickness slows you down so the 14.5% ABV does not go straight to your head.
Overall, this is a coffee fanatics beer. I highly recommend it.
Cheers,

This sounds....... interesting.....
Is it sweet? I'm not a beer drinker, but I do like coffee. Well, I like coffee mixed with ample amounts of cream and sugar anyway. :-)
I love coffee beers. This one looks incredibly strong! Would love to try it
It’s one of the better and stronger coffee beers I have had in a while.

Slightly from the alcohol, but it’s more malty, chocolate, coffee bitter.

That looks like a seriously good beer - rich and luxurious - I kinda want it right now.
