I love banana and coconut so add it to one of my favorite beers and you have a combination that is irresistible. Not to mention, New Holland updated their packaging to look more modern and sleek.
This beer is jet black with a dark tan head that fades quickly into soapy/lacy bubbles. The beer was extremely cold and I did not do the greatest job pouring it so that added to the 3/4 fingers of head in the pictures.
The aroma is beautiful! There are strong notes of banana and coconut with a faint hint of bourbon. The smell reminded me of banana bread which is perfect for a cold day.
The taste is coconut forward with banana and Bourbon dominating the middle and backend. There are some notes of chocolate in between, but they are pretty faint. The taste is more mellow with a colder beer, but open up more as the beer warms. I would recommend drinking it slightly warmer.
The mouthfeel is thick, slightly creamy and just plan pleasing. There is minimal carbonation and I can only imagine how this would be on nitro.
Overall, this has to be one of the better variants of Dragons Milk. My favorite is triple mash, but this has to be top 3 in my book.

Yaaayy.. another beers😉 this time that bubbles attract me😂 is that really the banana and coconut or just the essence? What is bourbon made from?
They brew with banana and coconut so it tastes just like it. They get the bourbon flavor by aging the beer in used bourbon barrels.

I'm curious.. if they add the banana and coconuts brew, it won't last for too long right? I remember that we have coffee cold brew here (sometimes they add other spices too) but we'd better consume it within a month only
