Arkleseizure's Sneeze of Creation by Speciation Artisan Ales
If you are a beer fanatic like me price is not usually not a concern, but $8 for a 16oz can is getting pretty damn pricey. However, Speciation Artisan Ales might be the best brewery in the country so it comes at a premium. With a name like Arkleseizure's Sneeze of Creation and a sick black metal Speciation logo can it’s going to be a cool beer
This is what they call an employee small batch, aka Todd’s Recipe. I don’t know this Todd, but man can he brew a good beer
This one pours a gorgeous golden pink to reddish orange color. As you can see there was a medium solid white head that reduces quickly to a thin lacy cap.
As with most of their beers the aroma can only be described as funky. It’s a mixture of a yeast, berry, and stone fruit. It’s a beautiful combination that is so well balanced. It smells like a sour ale, but way more developed with lots of subtle undertones.
I usually talk about mouthfeel after taste, but the Very mild carbonation is so interwoven with the taste that has to be described first. It’s so light and airy that it does not taste like a beer. I would love this on a hot day as it’s one of the most refreshing beers I’ve had. The taste is beautiful with some apple juice like qualities. It’s very soft and pleasant with a solid yeasty backbone. The middle is initially fruity, hoppy, and floral. The finish is funky sour with oak, spice and pepper.
I could describe this drinking experience as fancy or sophisticated. It’s really a fine beer that has to be tried to appreciate its complexity. I hope Todd brews this one again!

I would love to try this one, but $8.00 is very steep - In South Africa it would cost R112.00. The stats are already say South Africans spent the most money for drinks on !BEER, more than for soft drinks, coffee, tea or wine!! It looks as if we really have good taste in drinks!!
That’s an interesting fact. I would of thought it was Americans or Spain.
