PASSION AND LOVE OF HERO
“Oh mpa” means oh father (local Nigerian language). It is widely believe the name Hero was given in honour of late Igbo war veteran Chukwemeka Odumagwu Ojukwu. Who led a failed attempt to split from Nigeria in 1960. Hero lager beer is the best anyman can have anytime anyday.

HISTORY
SABmiller in collaboration with Anambra State government (Nigeria) in August 2012 launched Hero into Nigeria and Hero Lager beer compete favourably well with other lager beers in the market, which got other brand worried how Nigerians rush into consuming Hero.
