RE: The Decentralization of Beer In Brazil
I have spent many times in Brazil. My favorite mass produced is Xingu, which is a very old beer there but is not that popular among many (I have no idea why it is an exceptional beer) The dark sweetness of it is very unique and should draw more attention. Brahma is a subpar beer for sure. Colorado is awesome. Another great hallmark of Brazilian beer is the coffee infused ones. Never had better coffee brews than down in Brazil. They usually infuse it which retains some the caffeine. I find Chopp quite a mystery but awesome. Everyone I ask has a differnt take on it. I have heard it is just the comparison of a “draft” in America but the head to the beer is very unique. I think it is likely due to the Co2. I also went to a microbrew place in Rio that had some awesome sours. Cheers!
