Craft Beer: Butcher Block Pale Ale

By now you will be able to guess what we were doing - yes we were Braai-ing and as is customary when we Braai is that we stand around socializing, drinking a few beers. Today I decided on a Craft Beer from the Jack Black Brewing Company, in Cape Town, South Africa, called Butcher Block Pale Ale. I found it an interesting name for a beer, but it went well with the meat theme as we were going to Braai.

The photo above shows the front of the bottle and the photo below shows the back. This beer comes in a 440 ml bottle and sports a 5.4% alcohol content. This beer was inspired by the craftmanship of the skilled tradesman as stated on the back of the bottle, the same philosophy the Brewery stands by!!

On the photo below you can see the big foamy head of this beer.

This beer has a very nice golden color when viewed against the light.

Well the proof is in the pudding, and this beer of the Black Jack Brewing Company did once again not disappoint. I love this brewing company, it delivers quite a range of beers, and so far I loved them all!! This one went down real nice!!
