RE: Sending beer over the muir.

He did really enjoy them and we had a lot fun during the whole preparing, sending and reception. Remembering my own family stay-in-a-tipi-or-chalet kind of trips myself. At first stress levels way up high, ifs and buts, not really wanting to go, home sweet home, that kind of thing. And then after a few days acting all grumpy and moody, when its time to head back home, I'actually had to admit I'd enjoyed it. Being back home again even would feel a bit uncomfortable at first. Next trip plan I'd be forgotten this whole thing of course, as if I had a brain reset. (Sorry my dear family...)

The Track 'n' Trace part was a lot of fun communicating about it. Logic does not always seem to fit, like you describe how machine spare parts could take an enormous detour all over the globe. Can imagine customers watching every step freaking out, hahaha. It seems logistics does not always look that logical.

This one was really fun to do, especially following the weird delivery part and commenting on it.

We had a couple of trips away with the kids like that.
14 days in a small "Pop. Up" caravan. It towed as a trailer, on arrical at the site the roof was lifted and the ends swung out giving a small to mid sized caravan, with an awning.
3 days in it started to rain, and it rained for a couple of days, the awning was flooded, three of the kids slept at one end while the 4th slept curled up on the flooir.
After the rain the sun dried up the ground quickly, being on beach sand, the wife was getting her tan, head in the shadow of the caravan, and catching a few zzzzs .
A cicrus had come to town and they were parading the elephants through the xampsite on their way for a sweim in the beach.
Imagane the reaction when she opened her eyes to see two enormous legs, one either side of her, a a long large wriggly thing coming towards her.
The best laugh for years.

Hahaha, that must have been quite an experience, waking up to that. 😁

My parents had such a type of pop-up caravan. (Called 'vouw-caravan' overhere.)

The weather sure can add an extra dimension to a vacation.
