Spicy, very sweet flavor with hints of prunes, sweet chalk, coffee, honey, chocolate and cinnamon. Served at 10-12ยฐC as a companion drink, or to stored hard cheeses.
This was a very light but tasty beer to be a Christmas beer. The sweet tones really felt through the semi-dark beer ... at least before I tried it with the cheese. Maybe I had some well-stored cheeses ... it was very good anyway and it was really the cheese too!
