Relax time! Homebrewed Black pepper and Lemon Saison!!!

After a busy workday... Very nervous, very anxious, very disturbing... It's time for some relaxation.

In fact... between my daily tasks I found some time to go to one of our local rose gardens, and pick some roses. Beer with roses? Weird, yeah? That's my idea!

Beer with roses, but that will be in another post... So between my tasks i refreshed a little bit by picking up some Oil roses. Bulgaria and my hometown are famous with the rose plantations of Damascena rose(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosa_×_damascena). Very oily rose, being used in world cosmetics! And their aroma is heaven-like... Such a great opportunity to try something new and produce some "Queen Rose" beer. But not to be distracted... The topic is the Black Pepper Saison!

I used some freshly ground black pepper seeds and some Lemon zest during the last 15 minutes of the boil. The result... You should try!

Some spiciness from the saison yeast in the nose, which is completed with the addition of black pepper seeds. At the same time, lemon zest brings a lot of freshness and tropical aroma. Still a very light and delightful aroma.
After tasting it's definitely very dry beer. As a matter of fact the yeast dropped to as low as 1.006 FG which is almost no sugar left! And if you keep the beer in your mouth a little bit more, the spiciness from the pepper becomes to tingle your tongue!
Foam to be there for a whole bunch of time!

Conclusion: Definitely my favourite summer beers! Homemade beers!!!

This looks amazing! @costopher sent me your way, I am going to start home brewing as well. Probably won't start with a Saison, but I will need to do one at some point for sure, one of my favorite styles of beer!
