North Coast Brewing Scrimshaw: An Amateurish Beer Review
This says it's a "Pilsner-style beer." It's not too bad. More below the log cabin glamor shot.
This Californian beer shows more restraint on its hops profile than Oregon and Washington beers tend to, but still doesn't quite match the couple proper imported Pilsners I have tried. 4.5% ABV and 22 IBU isn't particularly strong, but a pilsner-style beer isn't supposed to resemble an IPA anyway. The maltiness is a tad cloying for my taste, but minor complaints aside, this is a solid option for a microbrew.
