Gravity Shift

This might be one of the most beautiful cans I’ve seen. Pair that with a 14.5% ABV stout contained inside and you got one hell of a treat.

I’m gong to dart this review with this beer messed me up. I had not eaten that much and I was straight hammered by the end. With that being said, my tasting notes were comical at best.

As you can see this stout pours think and black. The head is a nice dark brown and great retention. I could of located a penny on this bad boy. With such a thick beer it left some wicked lacking all over that glass. It damn near dyed the glass.

The aroma is magnificent. Bold notes a cocoa, and sweet vanilla fill your nostrils. Then you get warming notes of alcohol, coffee, and chocolate malt. It’s a complex swirl of beautiful aromas.

The taste is in the verge of being overwhelming, but it takes you to the edge and the alcohol burn muted all the complex flavors. The most pronounced flavors are the chocolate and vanilla. The coffee, malt and other roasted notes build into the cocoa and sweet vanilla. The finish is all bourbon and alcoholic burn that round this beer out.

The mouthfeel is thick and creamy. When I say thick think warm pudding. You’ll be chewing this before you finish the glass.
