Beer Comparison-Pilsners

Pilsners are not a beer style I typically buy or try but over the course of the past couple of years I’ve tried 11 different pilsners so let’s do a quick run down of the top three in my opinion.

1. North Coast Brewing - Scrimshaw Pilsner
   This was far and away the best Pilsner I’ve tried achieving a 4.25 rating on Untappd! It was light and tasty!

1. Goose Island Brewing -Four Star Pils
   A solid beer that I rated at 3.75 on Untappd. It poured out a beautiful head of white foam that lasted a long while and left some nice lacing.

1. Bayern Brewing - 30th Anniversary Pilisener
   This Montana beer also received a 3.75 rating on Untappd. I enjoyed this Pilsner on tap at a local restaurant and it was a good drinking beer. It’s interesting that Bayern has a regular Pilsner that I’ve had twice and didn’t like as well (3.25 rating both times).
