Sunday afternoon Beer.
Iron Maiden are one of the most iconic heavy metal bands of all time with artwork to match. If you hear a song you know it's Iron Maiden even if it's the first time of listening and it's the same with their artwork. Eddie has become the icon of Iron Maiden, almost an extra band member, you just can't have Iron Maiden without Eddie on the sleeve or as backdrop to their stage.
The Trooper single was the first time I came across Iron Maiden and I still remember being blown away by the singles sleeve artwork. This was right back in the day of 7 inch records in the early 80's.
So now to be able to buy a beer named after that single is a great throwback to my youth and if you're into real ales this is a really good beer to try. Strong in flavour but smooth it really is a good choice for a relaxing drink in the afternoon.
I had a 7 foot long Eddie poster in my bedroom when I was growing up and I would love to try the beer.
The beer has been out for a few years, outside of the UK you may have to track it down in a specialist shop or online.
We have a place called Franks liquor and they have too many beers to select from, I don't know what to get with the huge selection. I'm the guy who doesn't like too many choices
I've always drunk in Real Ale pubs so Have gotten to try many different ales as the rotate the ales they sell.
