Friends! Let me share with you about balanced diet.
A balanced diet is a meal that contains all types of food nutrients required by the body for nourishment.
A balanced diet must contain Carbohydrates, Proteins, Vitamins, Vegetables and Fat.
Let's see each type of food named above and it's role in a body.

1.Carbohydrates
These are type of food which provides energy to the body. Example of Carbohydrates are maize, rice, millet, flour and other cereals.

2.Protein
Proteins help to build up the body, repair and maintain its shape. Example of Protein foods are fish, chicken, meat, liver, beans e.t.c
Note: Many body builders uses protein supplements.

3.Vegetables
Vegetables like spinach are import in the body because they provides vitamins, soften stool and also provides necessary nutrients to make blood

4.Fat
Is the group of food which is commonly known as oils. Oil can be derived from seeds like ground nuts, sunflower or from animals. Vegetables and seed oils are more recommend to use for a good health than animal oil since animal oils contain high cholesterol levels therefore long term use relates to predisposition to coronary artery diseases eventually heart attack.

5.Vitamins
Vitamins are important for a good health of any person performs variety of roles in the body. For example Vitamin A in Carrots helps improve Vision, Calcium from milk helps maintaining bones and teeth also Vitamin D from the sun helps maintaining skin.

Importance of eating balanced diet
1.Helps fighting against diseases.
A balanced diet makes body immune system stronger therefore could withstand stress caused by disease causing microorganisms.

2.Proper growth and development
A balanced diet help in proper growth and development therefore it's important children to get balanced for both phyical growth as well as mental development.

3.Good health
Good help means good skin condition, normal hair distribution, good bone formation and repair since in condition like malnutrition all of those are affected.

Concussion: It's adviced that all people get balanced diet not just taking some of the explained foods rather a meal must contains all types of food for a good health.
