Face powder types,and its functions
Face powder is one of the basic cosmetic tools for every woman. It is a product used to set foundation and concealer to create a silky smooth surface for other products applied. Although the general function is to brighten the skin but it also has more functions in various types.
Loose powder(suitable for oily skin): This is the original type of face powder. It is light and soft in texture. The soft mineral powder makes the formula easily absorbed into the skin and makes your face free from oil. Loose powder is best used for setting liquid or creamy foundation.
Pressed powder(suitable for dry skin): It comes in a compact form. Pressed powder has been formulated with a moisturizer and it makes the texture heavier than loose powder. Besides brightening the face, it also helps to moisturize the skin.
Two-cake powder: The coverage of this powder is very perfect because it contains a foundation formula. It is very effective most especially in covering dark spot/blemishes.
Setting powder: It helps to eliminate oil ensuring makeup to be more durable. It comes as a translucent/ transparent form.
Finishing powder: It is used to maximize the bright makeup that looks uneven and finding dried pores in the face. You need to be careful when applying this particular type of powder. Don't allow it be too much but rather make it look as natural as possible.
Once you know the types and functions of each powder, it won't be difficult to apply to the face.
