what is beauty?

Beauty is a characteristic of some thing... Say an object or an animal or an idea, etc that gives one a satisfactory opinion. Beauty is not really measured by color combination, it does not have a definite outlined quality or functionality but by personal perception of things.

we all look at same thing but we see differently

and that is why we sometimes agree to disagree or disagree to agree, whatever that realy means

It is very common to see people answering what they think is beauty with respect to the shape of the nose, skin color, how one is dressed etc which obviously is what they see and will definitely direct their response towards those visible qualities.

However, i think beauty is more than we see. Beauty can be within, covered in the most secret part of oneself or part of the world... We just need to look beyond the physical and maybe try to see without our eyes.

Beauty can be seen from different perspective and each one to his opinion. Do you think other living things other than humans see beauty in things? how do you see beauty? What do you see when you say something is beautiful? What is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen?

The Bible recorded in the book of genesis that after creation, the creator observed and said that everything created was beautiful!

There is a saying that

looking at the beauty in the world is the first step of purifying the mind

And i can not agree less with this. This implies that we do not really see beauty with our eyes but appreciates beauty when our mind is clean

Beauty attracts attention to it's self. Beauty can also indicate good health and abundant life.

It is very easy for beautiful things to get more enemies than they get friends. Beautiful flowers gets plucked for their scents and beauty. Humans gets more enemies from jealous colleagues who wish that they where as beautiful as they were.
