Ruellia Siplex "Such a beautiful flower 🌺

Ruellia simplex, the Mexican petunia, Mexican bluebell or Britton's wild petunia, is a species of flowering plant in the family Acanthaceae. It is a native of Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America. It has become a widespread invasive plant in Florida, where it was likely introduced as an ornamental before 1933.

The best approach is for watering just enough to keep the soil consistently moist. While these plants are sturdy and can go without water for a long time, young petunia ruellia simplex needs regular watering. During the colder months of the year, refrain from overwatering and only wet when the soil is visibly dry.
