Clays have been used for centuries to beautify and cleanse the face when used as a facial mask.
The Egyptian Queen Cleopatra has a lot of beauty secrets which helped her maintain her beauty and youth. One of which is this kind of "living clay" called bentonite which can be found in the Nile River in Egypt. This contains volcanic ash and other minerals from the Earth. Applying this clay mask once a week has been included in her beauty routine.
Benefits of Using Clay Mask
This clay is not only good for facial mask, it could also help treat acne, can be used as bodywraps, clay baths, foot soaks, chilled clay for knee packs and insect bites! This would definitely remove the dirt and impurities on your face. It has a lot of benefits and the good thing about it is that you can use this clay in the comfort of your own home!
How To Use This?
Mix the clay with equal parts of raw apple cider vinegar and/or water in a non-metal bowl. The utensil that would be used to mix this should also be non-metal to avoid the reaction of the product. Stir the mixture until the paste is smooth. Apply the paste in to the face and let it sit for 5-10 minutes for delicate skin and 15-20 minutes for normal skin.
When I bought this from Shoppee, it already has a plastic mixing bowl, measuring spoon and brush included with it.
I opt to use apple cider vinegar instead of water because I think it's more effective.
This has a slight foul smell due to the apple cider but it's tolerable!
Once it's applied on your face, you will feel a pulling and tightening sensation. You will feel your face pulsate and that's how you'll know that the product is working on your face.
I can still smile 5 minutes after putting the paste on my face. 😁
15 minutes after and I can't barely open my mouth. I can feel the tightening on my face and I can feel my face pulsate.
To remove the clay, wash your face with warm water. You will see slight redness of the skin and this is pretty normal. This would disappear in about 30 minutes.

Overall, I find this product really worth it and effective. A tub would last you long because you only need a little of this. A little goes a long way!

Hello... Talagang magandang gumamit ng natural minerals sa mukha, try nyo rin po red clay mask, from Morocco, outcome very bright at radiant po. Maganda din po ung apple cider vinegar na combination sa clay masks nyo po.
Ang mga clay masks po pag sobra nakakadry din po. So advisable 2 X week po.
Natutuwa lng po aq may topic na clay masks, interesting.

what i usually do is to prepare the mask (it would normally take 2mins lang) then apply the mask. while waiting for it to dry off, sinasabayan ko sya ng pagssteemit or trade etc. hahaha no wasted time 😂
