Beautiful steemians! Anyone who know me knows that I have a seriously fucked up obsession with all things skincare. I love a good excursion to my local Ulta or Sephora to lust over all the new hyped products.. cute packaging and far-fetched claims are a sure way to sucker me into spending a pretty penny:(. I'm constantly trying new products in hope of a goddamn miracle for clear skin. I know there is no magical cream to cure pimps forever,........ but seriously WHY NOT??!!
Along my search I've found that there is no actual 'secret' when it comes to skincare. I've watched countless YouTube videos and read hundreds of blogs on how to take care of your skin. So far all I have taken from that is everyone's skin is different. Mimicking beauty gurus will not get you any closer to a better complexion. TRUST ME!!!! I have the drawers of shit products to prove it. Trial and error, my friends. Or a good derm would be ideal. Find what works for you and stick with it.
When it comes to finding a routine, simple is the way to go. Less will always be more. SERIOUSLY! Cleanse, treat, moisturize and the occasional mask. Pretty easy, right? Well the real key is consistency! Do the same shit everyday and you will see results. You don't need to drink 3 gal. of water every day or get a facial X amount of times to have pretty skin.

Alil bit about my skin! I have normal/combination skin, acne prone in my t-zone, and lots of hyper pigmentation(scarring from picking at pimps). Summer heat really likes to play me and makes my shit go completely out of wack. Two of my life saving/desert island products for the summer are ANY micellar water and Grease Lightning. Everything else is extraaa.
