Hello Steemit friends! I hope you are all having a fantastic week. Today I would like to share with you my November Boxy Charm box. This is a subscription that I have whereas, for $20, a box comes to my mail every month, filled with beauty products. I look forward to my subscription box anxiously every month because it has yet to disappoint.

Below are the 5 products that arrived this month...and the correlating swatches......AND the dog.

You will need to excuse the dog, he has absolutely no manners and feels the need to lick everyone. I did a look using the products that were inside my box and here's how it turned out.

I am currently working on a few more looks with this, but the other looks I came up with didn't look quite the way I was hoping for. But I will figure it out and show you more soon.

While I did like the shadows in the swatches, they didn't perform quite as well as I would have liked them to on the eyes. But I can still manage, with a white cream shadow under them. The photo above shows no kind of base used on my eyes before applying the shadows.

The lipstick was the one product I had the hardest time with. The color is gorgeous but it's so patchy and hard to get a smooth application. This will be best worn with a lip liner, for sure. After wearing this lipstick for the past week, I can confirm the staying power it has. It will stay on your lips for the most part of the day. I applied the lipstick at 6am and it stayed on my lips (through breakfast and lunch) until about 3pm. It had faded throughout the day but there was still a stain that still remained until about 3, in which it was completely gone.

I think the one product I am really happy about is the travel brush set. I LOVE Luxie brushes and have many of them in my daily collection, but these will be going in my makeup kit for our RV when we go out to the lake and other travels. While the lipstick and shadows need a little help to make them work for me, I think this was still a wonderful box. I am excited to try the lip mask this weekend on my pampering time and am continuing to try out the setting spray to see how well it "sets" my makeup.

I am a little concerned because I am very oily and most illuminating makeup does not work well with my already "illuminated" skin. LOL It won't go to waste however, because I can use it as a spray to help intensify my eye shadows for maximum pigmentation.

Alright, enough beauty and on to Caleb...
This is the part of my post that I like to show off what my little family is up to, namely Caleb. :)

Caleb had won a contest at school for selling boxes of chocolate as a fund raiser. If you sold at least 3 boxes you got to participate in a "Fun Night" at the gymnastics center. Because he sold the most in his class he was also awarded a goodie bag filled with gift cards, toys and multimedia stuff.

The pictures didn't turn out so good from the area Brad and I were sitting. We were way up on the third level looking down through a plexi glass window. But you get the idea anyhow.

So there you go with today's post. I am working on a post for tomorrow and am hoping to have my pictures of Caleb in his Thanksgiving outfit they made at school to show off.

Until next time, take care.
