I have never heard of that! What an incredible concoction! So unlike anything we have. Beans in a desert would be strange here. I would love to try it! I am so glad you found your grandpa's favorite place! Now you can take your grandchildren there some day!😉
Ah sweetened kidney beans can be enjoyed on its own. My wife loves it and I could share the recipe one of these days. The place is pretty old and I'm pretty sure they would be hanging around for a long time.
Do share the recipe! I love kidney beans in soups and salads, so I'm guessing I would enjoy sweet, especially if @mhel loves it!👍
