Beautiful Sunday - Hiking Mont TremblantsteemCreated with Sketch.

in beautifulsunday •  last year

Hey all,

I recently went to Mont Tremblant and hiked to the top. It was a pretty cloudy day with a rain forecast but it was my only day in the area so I had to go for it. In the end I got really lucky and it started raining just as I was getting back to the car. I took a few pictures along the way that I'll share with you guys =)

Shout out to @ace108 for organizing #beautifulsunday!

The trail starts right from the village, which is really picturesque with the buildings of all different colors.

There's a nice rock wall near the beginning of the trail with water running on its face.

Gaining a bit of elevation =)

After hiking through forest for a while the trail opens up on the other side of the mountain.

Looking up, there's still ways to go!

After hiking for about an other hour, I finally approach the home stretch! The inclination is actually pretty steep on that second picture even tho it's a bit hard to tell.

The end is in sight! By this point I was so thirsty and hungry, I couldn't wait to get up there.

And here's the view from up there!

It ended up taking about 2.5 hours to get to the top with a couple short breaks along the way to take in the views. If you're in the area it's a pretty nice place to check out; there are tons of activities to do on and around the mountain!

Thank you =) You are right, I should probably mention it in the post!

A very nice walk. At first, I thought Mont Tremblant may have been a typo but I google and confirm it spelled Mont. Thanks for sharing on #beautifulsunday.

Thank you so much =) I'm glad you liked it! Yeah the name is French, that's why =)

You're welcome. Yes, I figure so since my search has Quebec in the result .
