The Halloweens of my youth were often marked by the first snowfall of the season. It was usually those huge flakes blowing around but it never stayed until mid-November. 6" this early is rather amazing! Your Boston ivy look beautiful.

I do remember snow flurries on Halloween when my kids were small.
But I do not like it!
