The beauty of the floating islands of the Uros, Lake Titicaca, Peru
The floating islands of the Uros are a set of artificial habitable surfaces built of totora, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of Lake Titicaca. The islands stand on a portion of the surface of Lake Titicaca, overlap with blocks of Totora roots on which are laid successive layers of totora woven or interlaced in mats.

This island looks like a place for tourists with the banner and the map presented, right? But can‘t imagine that so many tourists come around...
Yes, it is a place for tourists to visit, and the Uros Indians sell travel souvenirs, dance and tell stories to tourists, and what seems like a few dollars to us, allows them to have a small income for their family.
Interesting place to visit and the boat is so out of this world in a way.
