Beautifulsunday. Old New Year in Ukraine!

On the night of January 13-14 Ukrainians celebrate the Old New Year.
And today, January 14 is popular for greeting and visiting relatives, friends and for visiting churches.

On the today's morning boys and men go around and knock on doors.
People believe, it's lucky for the first person to enter each room to be boy or a man, who throws grain
or buckwheat on the floor and recites a rhyme about wishing happiness and good luck for the upcoming year.

After visiting church we have a simple healthy meal: buckwheat porridge, eggs, different salads.

The children like films very much. They were watching interesting film today, too)

Sunday is always so beautiful and joyful!
