The leaves have turned. Thanksgiving is close. This looks like a beautiful day of a walk. Absolutely beautiful photos. Makes a bit homesick. I loved fall and spring. You speak of old and new Bayfield. I am not familiar with the history. Something changed to force a move?
the village used to be really close to the bayfield river starting around the 1840s I believe, but the river overflowed a few times, destroying the bridge.
