I remember visiting Dundurn Castle, but it was during the summer. If I remember correctly there is a rock gardens not too far away. It has been 31years since I last visited and the castle seems to be unchanged.
Yes it is very close to the Royal Botanical Gardens, Your memory serves you well. This was my first time visiting it - and I've lived here my whole life. I've decided to become a tourist in my area. :)
Nothing wrong with being a local tourist! We used to Sunday tours with the kids and two great aunts. No particular destination. Wee found some lovely places in Ontario like this...
